New hairstyle? Any suggestions?

i want a new look for the new year. My hair is long[almost to my belly button],

wavy, curly, and frizzy[when not maintained].

I have straight bangs to my eyelashes and on each side i have a longer piece. I had a misshap when trying to put blue highlights and they came out green. I want to try the blue again but i'm not sure how to cut my hair. Any suggestions??? Pics would be helpful too :]

Old Disney Channel Shows on Disney Channel?

Does anyone remember the name of that old show on Disney Channel that had a girl who experienced or solved paranormal things? The main actress changed once or twice, and I think one of them had blonde hair and the other had brown hair. One episode that I can recall is when the aunt of the girl was 'writing' when she slept and the girl gave her a piece of paper %26amp; pen to write the things dowm, and it turned out that the aunt was writing in code. She was writing messages to the girls dad or something (???). I remember that the show was on late at night towards the end of the show (or reruns of the show). So, does anyone know?

Old Disney Channel Shows on Disney Channel?

Yeah, the show you're thinking of is "So Weird." It was definitely a weird show. It was odd how the main characters of the show suddenly changed after the third season. I don't remember many episodes from the first two seasons. I guess I started watching it more when the blonde girl became the main character. I remember the tiger. She'd always randomly see the tiger, like outside her window when she was sitting on her bed, and the tiger's eyes would glow. It was some sort of sign. I don't really remember what it was all about. I remember this one specific episode where she was in school. There was some assembly in the gym and she figured out that something was going to happen in a specific room. She found out it was the gym and the bleachers that everyone was sitting on was going collapse. I think she snuck into the office and made an announcement, or something, and the gym got evacuated just in time.

Here's a link to some information all about the show...

Crazy question about stitches...?

7 months ago, I cut up my leg and had 16 staples and a whole bunch of stitches inside and outside.

Everything healed fine but I had this little bump over my scar that I thought was a piece of bandage for the longest time. Then I was told, it might still be glass or it could be an ingrown hair. Either way, I just worked up the nerve to try and figure it out and pulled on it. It was a stitch. I pulled it until I realized what it was and then freaked out and stopped.

So now I have a string coming out of my leg. Looks like a long black hair.

What should I do?? Keep pulling? and is it supposed to be there?

Crazy question about stitches...?

It should of been disolvable and came out easily. It still could just come out. I would just call your doctor.

Crazy question about stitches...?

just clip it off with a sterilized scissors.

Crazy question about stitches...?

If you had this done 7 months ogo there should not be a string coming out of your leg .....CALL YOUR DOCTOR

Crazy question about stitches...?

You should contact your doctor. Most stitches dissolve on their own but a few can still remain. I had surgery and its been over a year and still have a small stitch work its way out occasionally. Normally they will pull out with ease but if it doesn't then don't pull hard on it. Go see your doctor.

I've had dogs all my life but I've never had a dog that coughs up fur balls.?

I brush him regularly, he is a short haired yellow lab doberman mix and every once in awhile he likes to eat hair. I try to keep the hair picked up in the house and am pretty good about it, he doesn't have hot spots or anything, but 3 or 4 times a year a so he goes on this licking the tile floor or a piece of carpet or something then up comes a fur ball. The vet says not to worry about it. Has anyone else ever had a dog that did this? Any suggestions?

I've had dogs all my life but I've never had a dog that coughs up fur balls.?

It could be pica, the eating of things that are not food and is usually a result of stress, hunger or habit. Some dogs eat rocks, plastic, paper, etc. and some get obstructions although at least your dog vomits it back up.

I've had dogs all my life but I've never had a dog that coughs up fur balls.?

One of my dogs did that. Our Vet. said to worry about that because the hair can cause intestinal blockage which can be fatal if not treated.

We removed the carpet to keep the floors cleaner.

I've had dogs all my life but I've never had a dog that coughs up fur balls.?

Are you sure you don't have a cat disguised as a dog ?

Off the top of my head, no.

Do you want to know why you should eat a raw plant food diet?

None of this is based on sound scientific, medical and nutritional principles. I am a former vegetarian. A dietary nurse frowned down on the idea at the time. Low iron levels along with low calcium, protein, vitamin D and B12.

Do you want to know why you should eat a raw plant food diet?

someday i would like to become a raw fooder.

but right now, i'm working on veganism.

Do you want to know why you should eat a raw plant food diet?

Not for nothing..but this is not a question. In the future..so you don't get slammed by trolls and others who don't share your beliefs... answer any questions about raw food..but don't make people scroll this much to read your answer.

Do you want to know why you should eat a raw plant food diet?

Wonderful! Keep this a secret, we don't want everyone to find out!

I was in Maggie Mudd for the first time last week on a trip to California from Michigan and was repulsed by how rude the girl working there was. I can't even put it into words. We ordered nicely, were kind and everything and her attitude was absolutely disgusting. She was so mean.

I shared with someone a small blueberry ice cream and a small cookies %26amp; cream. personally, I find that Maggie Mudd is very watery and not creamy. . .doesn't have the familiar texture of real ice cream like Soy Dream or Rice Dream does. Not that I'll ever visit Maggie Mudd again anyway, but I think I'll stick to the more creamy types. . .

What's your favorite there, anyway?

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

the first time i ever talked to he i went up and kinda just stood there with my arm around her and then left but she was like feeling me up the whole time this has happened a couple of time but they do this thing where they come get some sophomore guys and mess up their hair and put makeup on them and she like made sure she was the one to do up my hair and she made a effort to make sure the came and got me. Then we were taking pics and we were standing there in a like and she grabbed my a$$ but i was wondering like how to ask her how she feels this is going because I'm pretty sure she wants me because I'm hot but if she likes me likes me i don't know how should i go about finding this out and if she just wants to get a piece of me would it be just horrible to do stuff with her and not be in a relationship so how do go about finding out what her feeling are? any advice will help but try to answer the question too.

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

why dont you go and ask her how she really feels about you.i mean whether she likes u because you are hot or because she really is in love with you. if u are the shy type why dont you put a letter into her locker, im her and ask her or sms her and ask her

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

youre to young for her leave her alone becuase she will break your heart.

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

IDIOT, EXPOSE YOURSELF TO HER AND LET HER GIVE YOU A KNEE TREMBLER.

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

She's toying with you, because she's a senior, and she knows it's her last year. She feels she can do anything, and she probably will. I dont believe she's serious, and she'll probably break your heart, if you allow it!

I am a sophomore guy and i met this hot senior girl who thinks im the hottest sophomore and... ?

wow, honestly you sound very confident of your looks but with the info that u just said, u have already answer your own question...just go up and ask her what do u thikn of me as in how do u feel. ask if she likes you as a friend/more than a friend/ something else...if she grabbed ur ... then that's way way flirting where she wants to atleast touch you and from a girl's point of view, I like to get close to a guy if i like him from just shoulder touching shoulder to actually grabbing his toosh. or another way is after u ask her how she feels u tell her how u feel, honestly of how u feel towards her... and the sleeping with her part, that's up to you not wha tothers think.

My 20 month old daughter?

I don't know what the deal is with my daughter. She is scared to death of getting her head wet in the bath tub. She screams and cries when I am washing her hair or her face. She doesn't have a problem after that, she loves the bath after I am done with her hair and face. Why is she so scared, and how do I help her through it?

She also has a habit of putting her fingers in her diaper. Is this normal? I will ask her what she is doing, and she crosses her arms trying to hide what she has. One time this happened, and I pulled a piece of crap from her hands. I get on to her, but this is turning to an everyday thing. Is it time to start potty training or something? I am not looking forward to picking poop from her hands again.

My 20 month old daughter?

Some people have very sensitive eyes or nose. Even a drop of water can cause a burning feeling. Maybe your daughter is one of those. If this is the case, be *really* careful not to get any water on her face when you wash her hair. Wash her face with a *damp* (not wet) washcloth. And, even more importantly, *explain* to her what you are doing and why you are doing it extra carefully so as not to hurt her.

As for the diaper, it's probably just a normal toddler thing. She has already seen and investigated most of her body, but certain parts are usually hidden inside the diaper. She just wants to know what's there! All babies do it sometimes. Now could be the time to start talking about privacy ("you can do that alone in your room, but not in the living room or when someone else is there--it's private"). She won't get it all at once, but she *will* start to learn. In the meantime, try to be careful to change dirty diapers quickly! Otherwise, yes, you are in for more unpleasant surprises.

My 20 month old daughter?

Yeah it's time to potty train her, which will take care of the problem. Also, you can get a thing to put on her head to keep soap out of her eyes when you wash her hair, maybe that would help. Make sure the waters not too hot. Babies skin is alot more sensitive than ours.

My 20 month old daughter?

Putting her hands down her pants is perfectly normal for her age. As far as you washing her hair, no child at 20 months likes it. Check out this site, they have some awesome advice for Mom's like you and me Americanbaby.com

My 20 month old daughter?

Well - first of all, many children have the fear of water on their heads and face. Most of my neices and nephews had the same deal. They just grew out of it. Try washing her hair and face with a washcloth for a while - she will more than likely get over it for herself. Try not to force it on her because she may become even more scared of it.

Second of all, I can't think of any children who have not gone through the "fingers in the diaper" stage. That, unfortunately, is also something you will have to wait for her to grow out of. Just make sure the diaper is tight enough on her and always keep pants on her (that will cause it to take more time for her to get into her diaper - and hopefully you will see her before she can get into it).

I'm sorry I can't give you any miracle cures, but your daughter really isn't going through anything abnormal. Just let her develop at her own pace and she will be healthier and well-balanced for it.

My 20 month old daughter?

She probably got shampoo in her eyes once. Be patient. I know it's hard when you want to get it over with, but she really is scared, not just trying to pull your chain. Try very hard not to hurt her when you wash her face and hair any more. I usually wash faces with plain water. You really don't need soap because her skin is not oily yet. Hair is a little harder. You do have to use shampoo, but it is MUCH easier if you use conditioner FIRST. This gets the tangles out easier and makes the rest of it less stressful. Now, as for the poop issue--I honestly don't have any first hand experience--my kids never did that but--I understand that it's normal curiosity. I would just calmly let her know that that's not nice and do it as many times as it takes. If you get hysterical about it she could attach too much importance to it and either do it more or become afraid of it. I know you don't want her to start holding it in. I've seen what that does to kids and it's not good. The stools become so hard that they can't go without pain which makes them hold it more--it's a vicious cycle. Don't be afraid to tell her that it's not acceptable as many times as it takes, just do it calmly.

My 20 month old daughter?

It is common problem and can be solved easily. But remember you shouls not rush for results. Just follow some basic principles whenever you handle kids.

On bathing problem, just after washing her face, body parts then finally wash her/his head. But duration should be very short, even may be a minute with even a cup of water. This can go for twice a week. On the months duration start increasing the duration of the bath also with the head washing duration. Sure child will not notice since psychologically she/he will be tuned. After bathing start giving her/him of her likings. but this should be discontinued at early stage otherwise you have problem in later days. This is suggested just to avoid screeming.

On your second questions, whenever you adivce child to stop something which others don't like, they try to repeat. This is quite natural in growing stage. Just divert the attention. Thats it!!!. Still child repeats the same to attract your attenstion. Just pretend that you are not watching her. But you should keep your eye on child since they may do some thing serious. But the idea is to convey the child that it is no interest. So child will drop doing the same.

Bringing up child is an Art. Every mother faces the challenge.

You need some time to understand this.

My 20 month old daughter?

Oh, my daughter went through the same thing with the bath and it is soooo frustrating! And the really funny part is that when she would go to the pool she would love me to splash her and get her hair wet! Anyway, my husband and I would give her a dry washcloth in the tub. We told her to hold it over her eyes while we wet her hair. This was comforting to her and we always tried to let the water run over the back of her head instead of in her face. It gave her some control and eventually she didn't mind it so much. Now she lays down in the tub on her own to rinse her hair in the water.

The diaper thing is normal, I've heard of kids doing stuff like that. If you think she's ready for potty training it couldn't hurt. If it doesn't work and she still puts her hands down her diaper, try putting her in some long pants that have a tighter waist band, maybe if she can't get her hand through she will give up. You also might try a belt around her waist, to keep her hand out.

Please Help Me!!!!!?

Also your true friend would not make fun of you on how you dress or how your hair is cut. I dont think she is a true friend and i believe that you could find a better friend. Also maybe she is just jealous of you, that could be a reason too. She wants what you have so she will make fun of you for it but really she wants it.

Please Help Me!!!!!?

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

Far back in time even before the dinosaurs in Europe, there lived a blacksmith only three feet tall. Sam, the three ft tall blacksmith benevolent and was very beautiful even if he was small. He was short that he needed a stool to stand on to shoe the great steeds of the knights! Even though he is not smaller than a dog that lived in the empire, he was nicer than anyone was. This bothered him not a bit, because although he was small he was very brave. In fact, in his heart he secretly longed to become a knight and win the hand of the Princess.

The Princess was the King and Queen's only child and it should come as no surprise that the little blacksmith loved her very much for she was both kind and beautiful. Her name was princess Bell and it was named after her grandma Bell. She was even smaller than the black smith was! The princess had dancing eyes and long silken hair like Rapunzel, which she wore in a coiled braid. He parents went many doctors but there was not anything that cured her. Why did the blacksmith and princess have this? Nevertheless, alas, the little blacksmith could admire the Princess only from afar because she was, after all, a princess and he but a lowly blacksmith not even that tall. He would wake up everyday, look at one of the old dusty pictures of Bell, and then go to a small window. Even though he could not see, he managed to make a stool out of some old steel and brown wood to see.

One sunny day a terrible dragon came to the kingdom. Breathing fire on anyone who crossed its path, it trampled houses and burned fields. Many knights battled the dragon but their swords could not cut its thick dark brown scales. Each night it flew home to its cave in the mountains surrounded by a deep ravine.

The dragon was enchanted and protected by a magic spell. It said,

He who would break my spell,

Must know the ones I think in my head,

Then tell the bridge if it is what he thought and play the violins like Beethoven could,

If he wants still can finish my obstacles, he would challenge me on chess.

Last, not least, write me a story on a piece of rock that is no longer or less than eight pages in 18 min!

If you finish these, then you will challenge me writing quickly or using my new but old typing machine. Tell me why you came here that have to exactly no more or less than two pages.

Many scientists and mathematicians went to challenge and many were defeated as the dragon moved closer and closer to the laboratory. These scientists were like a magician with great brains. The King was insulted, his face turned to red with a rage, and he almost looked like a cherry on top of a white vanilla ice cream! He declared whosoever won against the dragon would be granted half of his laboratory. Now scientists and mathematicians came from across the sea. They were the most intelligence, the oldest, and the biggest mathematicians anyone had ever seen. These were from many cultures and had different type of answers that they may think that the dragon was thinking. A thousand of them gathered to challenge the dragon. However, with his great mind the dragon took no time in defeating fifty mathematicians from their places and breathing fire on the rest. He said,

You must think I am here to fiddle,

Thousand men is not the riddle.

One man alone, only one man,

With great intelligence,

That is the plan.

In desperation, the King proclaimed whosoever solved the riddles and defeated dragon granted would be their heart's desire.

Now the merchants got busier than ever. Suddenly there were books everywhere: fat books, skinny books, sharp books, and chess books, people books, violin books, but mostly tiny books so that one man might carry many of them. However, a tiny book is more like a dagger and most scientists and mathematicians were too proud to carry a sack full of books. There were violins, and many other things that were not even needed. There was also a need for paper and pencils to write out the problems, all kinds, and shapes of papers and pencil and pens and boards. They needed even rock like miniature rocks, sharp rocks, and many color rocks. Of course, with all this material they needed carts to carry it and animals to pull it so there was a run on wagons and horses and donkeys and oxen.

Lastly, they sold glasses to the old people. They sold crystal goblets, wooden goblets, big cups, little cups, coffee cups, fat cups, skinny cups to drink. To fill these cups the wine merchants and the milkmaids sold red wine, white wine, sparkling wine, cow's milk, goat's milk and all types of fruit juice. There were maids who drank in gulps to show that they should buy it.

In fact, the kingdom had never known such commercial success. Nothing was left of anything resembling papers or pencil material, or a wagon to hold it, or an animal to pull it, and there was not a drop of liquid left in all the kingdom but ordinary water.

The things that left were sacks and sacks and sacks of money piled everywhere. Moreover, did this do any good? No. The mathematicians for all their effort and all their supplies could not defeat the dragon and now the countryside strewn was with debris and the empire was a mess. Only the little scientist閳ユ獨 heart was full of hope for he finally had a chance to win the hand of the Princess. He fashioned a lab coat and a book out of old paper and pencils, mounted his pony, and rode to court. Bowing before the King, he said, "I wish to be mathematician so that I may rid your kingdom of this horrible monster."

There was a moment of silence, then everyone but the Princess began to laugh. In fact, they laughed and they laughed, which made the Sam閳ユ獨 ears turn red. They nearly died laughing. The King said, "You are no match for this dragon. It takes might to defeat. You are simply too small."

The little scientists squared his shoulders. "I may be slight but I can think."

The Princess was impressed than anyone. She was thinking that this man was brave than anyone she knew. It was clear to her he was brave and good. "Father, for my sake, sends him this day. You promised 'whosoever should defeat the dragon,' and surely he deserves a chance." The King could not refuse his only daughter. He rose from his throne and sent the scientist. Then, for luck, the Princess unwound her long braid, pulled out a single hair, and handed it to the Sam. He placed it in a pocket over his heart. "May you have good fortune, my brave scientist," she said.

Sam was filled with happiness to the way the princess acted. Sam gulped and he set out on his pony to find the dragon. The pony was white and was faster than a Cheetah. His coat swished and there were tigers that were roaring stopped. He met many tired and defeated scientists and one helpful fellow told him, "Go back one man can't do these bizarre obstacles, nor can you beat him at the chess.

Sam thought what a dragon would think out the story his mom told when he was a kid. They only think about the little small cute kids. The dragon thought the littlest scientist was the biggest fool. The littlest scientist has been traveling half a day when he came upon an object in the road beneath a tree. A beehive was yellow and was right next to beautiful flower. Being a kind soul, he picked it up to put it back in the tree. Suddenly he heard a tiny, buzzing voice.

We see you have kind intentions,

However, please do not put us back.

Every scientist who has seen us here,

He raised his tiny sword that was smaller than a toy and gave a whack.

Carry us elsewhere, we pray,

In addition, we will return the favor one day.

"OK," said the littlest knight and carefully tied the beehive to his saddle that was black and gray.

It was shortly after that, he found the dragon or rather it found him. It landed nearby to look him over, and said,

Pfft, why you are nothing but a pea,

Who does not reach my knee?

Go home and grow some more.

Challenging you would be a bore.

"Ouch," said the dragon. The littlest scientist charged and struck him again. The dragon roared.

Dragon sat on his chair and said, 閳ユ窉o all the work that is over there閳?as fast as the littlest scientist could run he did all the work in the time he had. He was typing everything he knew even the dragon閳ユ獨 thoughts. The dragon was amazed what three ft tall person could do and skipped the chess.

閳ユ返ou are so right,閳?said the dragon after he saw this tiny man do the; I shall be your dragon until the day I die. The littlest scientist sat on the dragon with the beehive and his pony and went back to the kingdom, when the king saw the littlest scientist with the dragon he was amazed and asked him to wed his daughter. Then Sam was the king after Bell閳ユ獨 father died. He went to many cruel wars and as one of his future advisors had said in a sad voice that one of his own beloved children that would be born by Bell would kill you.

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

This is a very nice short story! The little poetic riddle is very nice. I don't know what grade you are in, so I am going to assume the writing is about right for your class. The story needs some more proofreading, especially with regard to sentence structure, grammar (particularly subject-verb agreement) and punctuation. I suggest having someone else proofread it, too, because it is too familiar to you. Don't use abbreviations, such as "the three ft. tall blacksmith". A good job of proofreading could improve your grade by a couple of points. Good luck, and keep writing!

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

That depends what class are you writing for and what grade are you in?

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

Wow this is super fantabulous! I would say for a low grade, like 5th or 6th. This is really good though, I think you should add on more and make it a chapter book!

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

Not interesting, too many errors, too many run on sentences, too much repetition. Probably about a 5Th grade reading level..Try making it simpler and easy to read.

For instance: In the first two sentences, we know that he is 3ft tall. You told us twice. It is established, leave it alone.

Dinosaurs are fun , but hardly relevant.

Go back, read it out loud then try to refine it. It has merit, but not in this form.

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

It was great. If I were a teacher I would give you an A++.

There was no mistakes. I hope you get an A+ or a good

Grade. GOODLUCK!!

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?

it seems alright

Is this story below good , interesting, grade level and are there any mistakes?
