Should I cut this annoying piece of hair or not?

I have long hair, about 7 inches or so past the shoulder, but there is one part in the front that is driving me insane. It's shorter than the rest; won't grow out to normal length and it's wavy. It's hard to describe but it looks so bad. I part my hair in the middle and it's off to one side but since it's wavy and the rest of my hair is straight it comes out toward my forehead at one part. Using a curling iron or straightener does nothing for it. It's not a large chunk of hair or anything (so I doubt it will be noticable) and it's right in front so I thought about just cutting it off, but don't want to have any regrets. Any ideas?

Otherwise, you could have a stylist cut it and show you how to make it into wispy bangs. I don't think you should "just cut it off" though, unless you feel sure that it'll look better and stay better that easily.

DON'T CUT IT!!!! If you cut it, it will start to grow back spikey. That would look horrible. Try putting it up in a clip or when you put your hair in a pony tail, use gel to put it back. You can also try to get another hair cut that will match that piece.

wut ever u do...dont cut it off! b/c it'll b this little stud of hair sticking out and it will look even more stupid. and wen it slowly grows back...then it will really b shorter. hav u thought about cutting ur hair to that strands lenghth?
