This piece was alongside, quite close to and surrounded by articles and adverts etc of / for / about beauty products, hair colouring products, fashion and a plethora of other ancillary stuff for women to........!

I'd hazard a guess at, 'looking good,' which is something to do with ...not 'Vanity,' surely?

Has anyone any other takes on this arena, thoughts, feelings etc?

Well I think that he like most vain people need to learn that staging a personal attack to a make critical point negates the effort and should use the phrases "I feel" or "I think" rather than "you should" or "you ought to." "Any fool knows that" or similar put-downs antagonize their victims rather than help clarify what went wrong.

He probably is one of the most vain men, but he, like everyone else who is vain, always has a high price to pay for vanity.

Personally I think the guys a knob!! He wears trousers that go way beyond above the belly button, sits there with a face like a slapped **** and he's such a hypocrit(didn't even spell that right!!)

He is vain and he'd probably be the first to admit it frankly theres nothing wrong with vanity and i don't see how the knewspapers can hope to take him down a notch by showing allmost every sign of being obssessed with him or atleast with using him [or atleast his latest anti bad singer diatribe] to sell knewspapers, which when you think about it though anoying for many celebritys is at very least a compliment.

In English papers you don't even believe the DATE without checking a calendar. Who is this guy? Does he run the country or run for it? Does he matter in the larger scheme of things? I hope he is not a politician. His name is more suitable to a trade union lackey!
