so i gave her a bath and tried 2 scrub the gum off (gently) but i still didnt come off so after her bath i got scizzors and cut the gum off (carefully) and everything went well but there was a piece where i cut off too much of her fur and there is a tiny bald spot on her little paw, is the hair gonna grow back??
incase it matters she is a terrier mix and shes a year and 3 months old

yes, her fur will grow back. if you had taken her to a groomer, they would have tried getting the gum out with an oil based solution first, and if that didnt work, they would shave the fur with clippers, still leaving a bald spot. animal fur is just like our hair, if you cut it too close, it will still grow back.

Yes the hair should grow back but it will take a while. In the future you can get gum off with rubbing alcohol and a flea comb.

baby oil, cooking oil or spray, peanut butter, or ice. all old school remedies for gum removal. She'll like the peanut butter best make sure you have enough to get the gum off because she will probably eat the first couple tries

Her hair should grow back out with no problem. Next time you have a gum problem, try peanut butter. Rub it in really well, it will get gooey, but when you wash it out, gum is disolved and gone.

Use and ice cube on the gum, it will make it hard and brittle, and you can break the gum right off from the hair....also I have heard peanut butter as well...but have used the ice cube on my daughter when she was little, and it worked great

This may sound sick,but when my daughter got gum in her hair so bad i took manaise and it came out.it worked once for me on my dog also years ago.
